Short funeral services for Mrs. Luetta Cresse will be conducted from the grave at Spring Vale cemetery at 1:15 o’clock this afternoon the Rev. TF Williams officiating. Rogers and Henderson funeral directors are in charge. Mrs. Cresse died at 7 o’clock last Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Doner, of Bloomington, Ill. She is survived by 8 daughters, four sons and a sister, Mrs. Cresse was the widow of Charles Cresse, who is buried in Spring Vale cemetery. - kbz

Mrs. Luetta Cresse, 63 of 1701 S. Bunn Street died in St. Joseph’s Hospital about 7 pm. Tuesday after being confined there since early October. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Beck Memorial Home. Burial will be in Lafayette, Ind. She was born at Collision Nov 16, 1872. Surviving are 12 children: Jessie and Sherman Wilkinson of Pekin; Mrs. Opal Ehlers of Alton; Richard and Lester Cresse of Peoria; Mrs. Catherine Estes of Rockford; Mrs. Mary Rawlings; Mrs. Nellie Carlson and Mrs. Esther Eaton of Santa Cruse, Calif; Mrs. Chaline Hall, Mrs. Helen Doner and Miss Mable Cresse all of Bloomington. There are also 42 grandchildren.
